Welcome to my Bio!
As a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry, I focus on providing person-centered, holistic care grounded in Rogerian principles. In a therapy session with me you will experience unconditional positive regard, empathy, and pressence.
I offer both medication management and psychotherapy, tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. If you are already working with a therapist, and just seeking medications we will collaborate closely with your provider.
My clinical training at Housing Works, Bellevue Hospital, Callen-Lorde Community Health Center, NYU SHC, and GMHC gave me invaluable experience in diverse settings.
I currently teach at Rory Myers Graduate School of Nursing at NYU. In the past, I have shared my expertise at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, and as a guest lecturer at Columbia University School of Social Work.
Prior to being an NP, I was an RN manager of Downtown Emergency Services Center's Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team, in Seattle Washington.
I work with a diverse group of clients, including but in no way limited to actors, artists, musicians, designers, and those who identify as LGBTQ
Creative Interests:
I was a Seattle-based club promoter for several years, and enjoyed background acting in film and television. Currently, im enjoying Comedy classes, with Shows at Gotham Comedy Club and Green Room 42 @ Yotel, NY.
I look forward to meeting you and supporting your mental wellness journey!
